On 6 November, Snowminds kicked-off the 18/19 winter season with a bang by sending our largest ever group of ski and snowboard instructors to Austria. Over the next 5 weeks approximately 400 instructors will be trained by Snowminds in preparation to become certified Austrian ski and snowboard instructors. All of them will also receive a paid job guarantee, full season housing, and local employment after completing their custom-designed Snowminds training course. 

 

What makes this year particularly exciting is the impressive diversity of the 2018 Snowminds instructor class. Earlier in 2018, Snowminds launched two new international websites aimed at reaching new candidates in Norway (snowminds.no) and the broader English-speaking world (snowminds.com). With this year’s group of Snowminds instructors, the results speak for themselves. For the first time, Snowminds will educate new instructors from Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Germany and many other places. With five Snowminds websites and potentially more in the pipeline, it’s clear the path forward will lead to even greater diversity and a more international Snowminds family.
